Who is responsible for your information?
Paige James is a sole trader trading as Wags and Wiggles and is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. The salon is at Stonham Barns Park, Pettaugh Road, Stonham Aspal, IP14 6AT.
Contact Paige at paige@wagsandwigglesgrooming.co.uk or 07533 178818 about your information or this notice.
What information do we collect?
When you enquire, we receive the details you provide: your name, email address, any phone number, information about your dog, the service you are interested in and your message. The website form marks required fields; optional details can be left blank. Please avoid including sensitive information about yourself or anyone else.
Our hosting provider also processes technical details, such as your IP address, browser information and requested pages, to deliver the website and protect it from misuse.
How and why do we use it?
We use enquiry details to answer questions, discuss prices and arrange appointments. Where you ask about booking a service, this is to take steps at your request before entering a contract. We handle other correspondence and protect the website on the basis of our legitimate interests in running the salon, responding to messages and preventing spam.
We may also keep relevant information where needed to meet a legal obligation or deal with a complaint or legal claim. Submitting an enquiry does not sign you up to marketing and does not confirm an appointment.
Who can access enquiries?
Paige handles all customer enquiries. Set Up & Seen provides technical support for the website and may access an enquiry on Paige’s behalf only when needed to investigate or fix a problem. Set Up & Seen does not routinely handle or reply to customer enquiries.
Netlify hosts this website, stores form submissions and provides spam filtering through its service providers. Email notifications and replies use the salon’s Microsoft email service supplied through GoDaddy. These providers process information to deliver their services.
How long is information kept?
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for no longer than six months after the last contact, and deleted sooner when they are no longer needed. This allows time to resolve questions and follow up a requested appointment.
If you become a customer, relevant details are used to manage your appointments and retained for as long as needed for your service and any applicable record-keeping obligations. Information needed for an unresolved complaint or legal obligation may be kept longer, limited to what is necessary. Contact Paige if you would like information about a particular record.
Where is information processed?
Our service providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Netlify’s Data Processing Agreement provides contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum where applicable. You can contact Paige for more information about safeguards for your data. Microsoft’s privacy statement explains its international processing arrangements.
Cookies and other websites
This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Its own code does not set cookies or save information in your browser’s storage. Fonts and photographs are hosted with the website; maps and social feeds are not embedded.
Telephone, text and WhatsApp buttons open the relevant service. Links to Tuft, social media and directions take you to another provider. Their own privacy and cookie notices apply when you use them.
Your choices and rights
You can contact Paige to request access to your personal information or ask for it to be corrected, erased or restricted. You may also have a right to receive or transfer your information, depending on the circumstances.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. These rights are subject to the conditions in data protection law.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Please contact Paige if you have a concern so she can try to resolve it.
